Chapter 2

When we arrived at Lucy’s house she indicated to me where was going to be my room those days, my intention was to find a job in London and to buy a house to me by the zone. My room wasn’t too big, but it was enough to sleep Rid the bag, and placed my laptop in the small desk that was under the window, I switched it on and I wrote in a paper the directions of my list of companies for which I would like to work. Then Lucy entered.

-Have you already installed?
- Yes, one question, have you got printer? I need to print copies of my curriculum.
- Sure, follow me.

She took to me to a small office where it used to work her father. I made copies of my curriculum and we returned to my room. She lay down in the bed and I keep working in my computer.

- What do you want to do today? - She asked as she was just yawning..
- Well ... I was going to these companies to look for work of mine- I show her the list that had removed from Internet -you could come with me, I still don’t know the city and if you want, when we finish, we can go to take a coffee or something.
- Sounds good, let me see the list.

She stood staring a few seconds, thinking where it was each place, she said they were not too far, and with the car we would be immediately. I turned off the computer and went to his car and we went to her car. Our first destination wasn’t hard to find, I got determined and confident but I did not get many hopes. I continued maintaining my positive energy, but on reaching the number 10 on the list my mood was low. On the way to the next direction we found a music store,  I told Lucy to park the car, that I wanted to cheer up a bit.

We went in and I went straight to my favourite guitar, I asked the employee if I could prove it, at first he was against but at the end I finished convincing him. At first I began by The heart to never lies, just the chords, but the lyrics, that I was following by heart, that song depressed a little to me. I changed of song, this time I began to play Party girl, with this I couldn’t avoid to sing it, the people who were in the store was looking at me, but didn’t care, I was singing one me of my favourite songs with one of the best acoustic guitars.

At the end of the song, the people began to applaud to me, I realized that there were many more people than at first, a man who looked familiar to me gave a card me and he said that he wanted to make me an audition in his recording studio, he said that I had to call him if I was interested in having a musical career. The man went of the store without buy anything, I looked at the card, he was called Mattew Fletcher, he was a manager. His last name remembered me to Tom, but gave no importance, I kept the card and I left the guitar in its site.

- You sing very well- said the employee – my name is Mark.
- Thanks, I’m Chris- I shook his hand.
- Hey, I was wondering if you could come play one more day, the business is better if they see someone with talent playing inside.
-Sure!
I said goodbye to that nice guy and I left the store with Lucy. In the car, I told her about that man, without hesitation she told me:

- Call it! What are you waiting for? Don’t you come here looking for work? However, this sounds like a work, and if it doesn’t work, Don't give a fuck! You have much talent

I had never thought about having a career as a pop star or something like that, I started playing the guitar because of my father, also I played the piano because of my grandfather, both my father and my grandfather from an early age "forced me " to enter in the music world, but I actually quite liked playing.

- How do you say I called that agent?
-Matthew Fletcher.
-Fletcher… like Tom Fletcher? Don’t they have anything in common?
-I really don’t know, the fact is that he looked so familiar to me and I think that he has something in common with Tom, but right now I'm so locked that I can’t think with clearness, I think I'll leave it for tomorrow, today was very weird.
